A Gift Born Out of Tragedy

On November 19th, 2002, Adam Charles Ports was critically injured in an accident. The 18-year-old freshman at Tiffin University died the following day, leaving a void that will never heal for his parents, Michael and Lori Ports, and brother, Matt. What they hope will go on forever is a gift that was born out of their tragedy with the formation of the Adam Charles Ports Foundation. Because of Adam's love for Tae Kwon Do, a Foundation scholarship in his memory will be awarded to select martial arts applicants for the post-high school education.
