Scholarship Application

2024-2025 Academic Year

The Adam Charles Ports Foundation offers significant ($1,000+) College Scholarships to further the academic education of individuals who have trained in the Martial Arts.

Please note: the application deadline is July 31, 2024.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the ACP Foundation College Scholarship, you must:

  • Have completed at least one year of training in any style of Martial Arts.
  • Be a resident of the State of Ohio or an undergraduate with a permanent address in Ohio.
  • Complete this scholarship application in its entirety.

Before you begin, please be prepared to provide the following items:

  • Essay An original essay 2-3 pages in length, double spaced on the topic provided.
    • This year's topic: If you could trade places with any other person for a week, famous or not famous, past or present, real or fiction, with whom would it be and why?
  • Personal Statement Include one page about yourself.
  • Proof of Enrollment An official letter of acceptance to a college, university or vocational school OR a class registration list showing the courses for which you are registered next term.
  • Letter of Recommendation Include a letter of recommendation from your martial arts instructor.
